Last fall I had the opportunity to visit Canada for the first time and take a road trip through Western Canada with a group of my girlfriends. We began our adventure by flying into Vancouver, British Columbia, (Canada’s westernmost province) checked out the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (loved it!) then headed up to Whistler, where we stayed at a gorgeous Inspirato Cabin. Over the next 3 days we hiked, relaxed at the Scandinave Spa, and enjoyed some great meals. BC is gorgeous and I can’t wait to visit Whistler again in the winter to snowboard!
After Whistler, we made our way to the mountain town of Banff, located in the province of Alberta, stopping for one night in Naramata Bench wine country. “The Bench” is a pretty lake area surrounded by wineries and worth visiting for good wine tasting with amazing views! Banff is a cute little town and was the perfect place to end our trip. We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs, which was a little outdated but was close to two of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Canada is arguably one of the most beautifully rugged countries in the world! Here are 20 photos from my trip that will leave you yearning to go experience its natural beauty for yourself.
After a fun day of wine tasting in Naramata we ended up at the bar… in our onesies!
