The tiny town of Waterville, on the Ring of Kerry in Ireland, is one of my favorite places on earth! Yesterday, I published a post on We Are Travel Girls, explaining why you need to add Waterville to your bucketlist. There is something simply magical about this place. Waterville is famous for its world-class golf, excellent fly fishing, and the best sticky toffee pudding on the planet! Star Wars also helped put this area on the map when the closing scenes of The Force Awakens were shot on the nearby island of Skellig Michael in 2015.
The beautiful landscape, the kind-hearted people, and the fact that arriving in Waterville is like stepping back in time, makes this Irish village a unique and special destination. Below are a few of my favorite photos from my last trip to Waterville. Make sure you also check out my post Why Waterville, Ireland Should Be On Your Bucketlist for all the reasons why you will love visiting this beautiful town, including my hotel and restaurants suggestions to help you plan the perfect getaway to Ireland. And yes, Guinness does taste better here!
