First, I must apologize for not posting any new content in over a month! As most of you know, my husband Steve and I had not one, but two wedding parties in September – (featured here) and another the following weekend in Chicago (feature coming soon). We eloped to Barbados last year and then wanted to create two special celebrations for our family and friends (I am from California and Steve is from Chicago), but we never anticipated how hard it would be to plan two parties across the world from our home base in London!
Our saving grace for the Santa Barbara celebration was Kendle Evans, a fantastic event planner who made our fairytale wedding party come true with an amazing attention to detail that we could never have achieved without her help. Villa Sevillano is located in Santa Barbara County, on California’s Central Coast, between the steeply rising Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Santa Barbara’s climate is often described as Mediterranean, and the city has become known as the “American Riviera.” So we took advantage of the amazing fall weather, creating a romantic outdoor reception around the infinity pool and the villa garden.
